Job Description

01. To ensure strict compliance of company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) to current requirements of national, international standards and regulations.

02. To act as a technical expert for all applicable standards/regulations ensuring the proper processes.

03. To verify and ensure that Manufacturing and testing activities are conducted in compliance with the Quality Plan/Procedures

04. To ensure that validation and testing processes are implemented in a manner that cGMP, ISO and other regulatory requirements are met

05. To ensure Quality Audits (Internal/External) are conducted periodically with a predetermined schedule with appropriate checklist.

06. To ensure the closures of Non-conformities from the Audits. 

07. To report/address any manufacturing and/or Quality issues related to the product/process to Functional head and/or Top management and/or R&D. To investigate the reported product/process related failure/non-conformance in coordination with the concerned departments through established Corrective action and Preventive action systems

08. To develop, implement and approve Quality Assurance procedures, policies and Quality objectives.

09. To ensure control over documents and records generated in the organization.

10. To direct all compliance activities, the instrument calibration/validation system, Instrument break down analysis and the corporate training program as per standards (ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 13485)

11. To effectively monitor and ensure proper functioning of quality tools such as Deviation, Change Control, Incident, Recall, Complaints, Corrective action, Preventive action, On-line rejection, Destruction, Out of Specification, etc.

12. Liaison with R&D and NPI teams on the development and introduction of new products at Site-III in Accordance with the QMS"
