Graduate Engineer Trainee – Cyber Security

Job Description

1. Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools and other security platforms for signs of potential threats or suspicious activities.
2. Help in performing vulnerability scans and assessments of IT infrastructure, identifying security weaknesses, and recommending mitigation strategies.
3. Assist in the investigation and analysis of security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and other cyber threats.
4. Aid in the development and revision of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to enhance the organization’s security posture.
5. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and provide insights to the team.
6. Document findings from assessments, incident investigations, and research. Assist in maintaining logs and records of cybersecurity events.
7. Support the development and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
8. Participate in internal and external security audits and help prepare reports based on the findings.
9. Should possess knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing process and tools.
