Software QA Engineer

Job Description

1. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test plans, test cases, and quality goals.
2. Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet- based platforms; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
3. Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
4. Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software applications design and development.
5. Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify platform issues and validate new features.
