Management Trainee

Job Description

1. Oversee the development and implementation of both short- and long-term category strategies, including project management, strategic sourcing, procurement, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to deliver value to customers.
2. Leverage the company’s growing market presence and business activities to secure a competitive edge within the inbound supply chain.
3. Lead various team initiatives aimed at ensuring the company achieves the best value across all expenditures.
4. Assume overall responsibility for managing supplier performance within designated categories, collaborating with other departments to ensure that service-level agreements (SLAs) and other requirements are consistently met.
5. Prepare performance reports for the team, analyze variances, and work closely with partners to establish performance metrics, all while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
6. Drive Value Engineering projects by eliminating non-value-added processes, fostering strong supplier partnerships that offer competitive benefits to the business.
